Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to me. (And to the rest of you moms and single dads as well, but mostly to me since this is my blog.)

I'm having a great day so far. Jeff tried to let me sleep in, he even turned off the baby monitor, but he was foiled by my bladder insisting that it was time for me to get up. I did manage to put off coming downstairs until he'd had a chance to get coffee ready. Yay coffee! Then for breakfast he made us waffles and bacon with fresh strawberries and a second pot of coffee. Yay more coffee!

Once we'd eaten he presented me with a Mother's Day gift from The Loopy Ewe. They created a special kit for Mother's Day that has a really beautiful skein of yarn (10% cashmere, yum), a cute little flower tape measure, and the funniest little project bag. A bunch of ladies on the beach with big ol' fruit bums. I love it! The tote is even cuter in person, and I promise to show it off the first chance I get. This picture is from the Loopy Ewe web site, because I am too lazy to take my own when they've already done such a fine job.

Now I just need to get the boys to hurry up and get dressed so that we can go to the Natural Gardener before Max's nap time.

Hope you all have a great day, no matter how you are spending it.
